Hello, new followers!

Fancy meeting you all :) Doing my best to keep the content fresh and up to date. God only knows how many weeks/months it has taken me to really sit here and dig through my links of Neruda archives to post up here! Hope you’re all having a lovely week. I’ve come down with the flu so I’m trying to occupy my time and energy into my old projects since I’m just resting all day.

Updates, finally.

I know, I’ve been slacking on FuckYeahNeruda. I work almost full time and I’ve been busy with school. I only update my other blog constantly. I tried posting a lot today to make up for the past week! In order to keep things interesting I’d like you guys to tell me what you’d like to see on here. This could mean anything from topics to more information about Pablo Neruda himself. So let me know in my ask box and i’ll what I can do.

another update!

Hello new and old followers :) I’ve updated the page a bit! I’ve made it ten times easier to navigate through the quotes by placing links on the left module. It’s set up so that you may find quotes based on the topic. Some other things I’ve included is the ‘featured’ link, which shows all the quotes that have been featured on Quote-Book, usually those have the most notes. I’ve also included a link to my own personal favorites along with links to Neruda graphics that have been posted, and announcements (such as this one). For those who have written or asked anything through the ask box, I’ve included a link so you can find your response from me. I hope this makes navigating through FuckYeahNeruda a lot easier and pleasurable given that looking through past pages is just tedious and annoying. So if any of you have any feedback/questions, anything really, just let me know!

I really do hate disrupting the flow of this blog but given the insane amount of new followers, I thought I should address somethings about the blog. First off, hey, I’m Vanessa, I maintain fuckyeahneruda! As you might’ve been able to tell, I update the page about two to three times a day and usually consecutively on account of making queue’s consistently was really taking a toll on my patience, particularly when Tumblr would decide to not work. As much as I really love this blog because I hadn’t found a blog that continuously updated it’s page with Neruda based literature, it’s kind of tedious after a while given that I’m doing a million things at once and I had to go searching for material. I’m going to try to provide both Spanish and English material given that many of you are fluent in Spanish and not to outdo the English language but personally I feel as though Neruda is best conveyed in its native tongue. A submissions page is featured on the ‘links’ tab for those of you who’d like to help out a bit, all credit will be given to the respective follower of course! All your inquiries can be answered on that links tab and if not a snazzy and helpful ‘ask’ box has been placed for your convenience. Wow, this is turning out longer than I intended. But to end off on a high note; thanks so much for all of your amazing comments regarding the site, it really means a lot. Thanks to quote-book, you’ve all stumbled across this little blog I’ve been keeping for about a year now. So keep checking back for updates and any suggestions/comments/ or submissions are more than welcome!

I’m Vanessa, I run this tumblr. I’ve neglected it and have realized how quickly it has flourished with it’s rise in followers. I’m so glad you all like the posts. I’m trying to maintain this site as often as possible seeing as I haven’t stumbled across many tumblr’s that dedicate themselves solely to Neruda’s work in the literary community. I’ve updated a few things on the page. First off there’s an ‘ask’ link in case you have any inquiries. Secondly, I’ve added a link for submissions in case you all have anything you’d like me to post.
