Anonymous asked: Hello :) Neruda has been a twist in the fabric of my time since the first time I read his "Saddest Lines". I'm enamored of his love poems, definitely, how can you not? And I enjoy that you have so much of that on this tumblr, but how about some of his Odes? Those are lovely as well; my personal favorite is "Ode to a Violin in California" :)

me-and-mypinksky asked: love your tumblr :), but a little comment... when you talk about "the saddest lines"... you're talking about, "the desperate song"...the final poem of his book 20 love poems & a desperate song... (MY FAVORITE BOOK EVER!), maybe it's a translation issue, I don't really know :S

Hello, new followers!
Fancy meeting you all :) Doing my best to keep the content fresh and up to date. God only knows how many weeks/months it has taken me to really sit here and dig through my links of Neruda archives to post up here! Hope you’re all having a lovely week. I’ve come down with the flu so I’m trying to occupy my time and energy into my old projects since I’m just resting all day. ...

You.
So I’ve got much more time on my hands these days and I’d love to hear from you all! So here’s my question, what kind of Neruda poems would you like me to post? By this I’m referring to the numerous topics Neruda writes about. Whether you have a thing for metaphors, nature or love, any suggestion will do. :) Feel free to ask here or simply reply to this post!  Also, how...

terrydassow asked: I've also been searching for a poem I read by Nerdua when I was in high school. The most vivid image was the hooves of horses pounding on the plain like a drumbeat or a heartbeat. I'd really appreciate any tips for what poem this may be, and especially from someone so well read on his work!
